President Uhuru Allies Move to Restore the President's Firm Grip on Mt Kenya Region
View pictures in App save up to 80% data. President Uhuru Kenyatta close allies yesterday on Saturday visited Gatanga Constituency in what was seen as a mission to restore his firm grip on the region.
The President’s close allies move is also seen as a counter to the growing popularity of his Deputy William Ruto and his supporters who have been vigorously campaigning in the region.
Former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth who was accompanied by other legislators spoke informing the people of Gatanga that what the President is doing is shaping his government in ensuring that the positions leaders that will help him deliver the Agenda which he promised Kenyans in his remaining part of his term.

"It is impossible for the President to work with people who insult him. For the remaining part of his term, he needs people who support him to help him complete his development work," Peter Kenneth asserted.
Peter Kenneth informed the people of Gatanga that President Uhuru Kenyatta has good plans for the Mt Kenya people putting in that the president cannot allow his backyard to be left out when major decisions are made.
"We cannot be the majority and be left out when major decisions are being made," Kenneth added.
Chief Administrative Secretary(CAS) for Education Zack Kinuthia who had also accompanied Peter Kenneth informed the Gatanga inhabitants that President Uhuru Kenyatta's intention is to unite not just Murang’a and her people but the entire country so that all people can speak in one language on matters that matter to the nation.
“The President’s intention is to unite not just Murang’a and her people but the entire country so that all people can speak in one language on matters that matter to the nation,” Education CAS Zack Kinuthia asserted.
Zack addressed the ongoing purge within Jubilee Party asserting that the decision of the President is a solution to bring people together for the sake of the unity of his people as part of his legacy.
“This continues to bring people together for the sake of the unity of our people as part of his legacy,” Kinuthia explained.
