The immediate effect was the shutting down of all the schools,collages and universities globally. There is one of the most important lesson which COVID-19 is teaching.
Education cabinet secretary professor Magoha had said that schools will be opened soon. This soon is suspected to be September according to professor Magoha. When the learning institutions will resume, they will resume with new regulations and guidelines. Some of this new guidelines include wearing of masks by every learner, seating position has been will be changing greatly.

Construction of new classes in all schools
For all schools in the country to meet the condition of maintaining physical distance in classes, all schools will be needing more new classes. And since they are not in existence at this moment, the government should be making arrangements to construct some. Before Coronavirus came to the face of the earth, Kenyans schools were very congested in a single class. Now the new guidelines requires only 20 students in a class which used to hold over 40 students. The construction of more classes will be a great development which will never be forgotten even after the end of Coronavirus.

The construction of new classes and redistribution of students in these classes will need more teachers. This means the government will have to employ more teachers to attend to these students in new classes. If they will not be employed, then the burden for the existing number of teachers will be unbearable. They will not even manage to attend to all these classes. Then the government will have no excuse than to employ more teachers to every schools.
High level of hygiene in schools
In most of the schools in Kenya are not having any source of water. These makes the students look very dirty most of the time. This expose them to the risk of contracting diseases. Because of COVID-19, every schools will be provided with water so that students and teachers can wash their hands regularly. When this pandemic will come to an end, these schools will have to maintain all these water sources which will be provided during this period of COVID-19.
