Nairobi County Assembly in Crisis at City Hall

The leadership of Nairobiis currently under governor Mike mbuvi sonko but it seems to be challenging on him since his leadership is not stable. The county assembly of Nairobi is full of threats of impeachment, of its leaders not only the governor but also the speaker.

Nairobi county assembly have a rightto to posses it's members has at article 176 of the constitution, there the county assembly contains 85 elected and 38 nominated members of county assembly of Nairobi. Who represents people of Nairobi in different and various committee.

Early today 25 June 2020 it's been a though crisisin the county assembly building at city hall Nairobi this after some section of county official settled at Nairobi buildings whose main intentions not yet clear.

According to Nairobi county assemblyspeaker madam Beatrice Elachi talking to citizen radio, she said the report was passed to her at midnight and she travelled to witness the matter.

Indeed some county assembly officialwere in the buildings at city hall among of them was county majority leader who is said to have possessed illegal weapons, it was just a gun and they were three of them.By now the majority leader hhas been arrested and police officers have already taken over Nairobi assembly buildings, city hall till all guidelines has been in order.

It's believed that the crisisimmerge from division of power between national government and county government, since then the crisis has been witnessed and this automatically affects the progress of the county therefore citizens suffers most.

The members suggests that the budgetset is not suitable to meet the requirements of the metropolitans people, the move has been difficult to the county since they share power.tsernos
