Jubilee MP Leaks Information on the BBI Report And the Time it Will be Released
View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Gatundu South Member of Parliament Hon Moses Kuria publicly revealed the details of the BBI report that according to him will be released next week. The MP who is a close ally of the deputy president William Ruto and staunchly opposed to the Building Bridges Initiative ( BBI) leaked the information on a late-night Facebook post.
Moses Kuria mentioned that the number of constituencies will be retained at 290 but nominated MPs will increase to 162 from the current 12 to cater to the constituencies that are highly populated.
View pictures in App save up to 80% data. Other huge changes that are expected according to Moses Kuria include the emergence of a Prime Minister post who will have two deputies and the Prime Minister will be elected in Parliament.
Unlike currently where all Cabinet Secretaries are appointed outside Parliament, the report leaked by Kuria indicates that half of the Ministers will be Parliamentarians.
The Central Kenya MP also said that there will be the best office of the official Opposition Leader which will be occupied by the first runner up in the presidential election.
