IPOA Launches Investigation of Alleged Fatal Shooting of Cobbler in Nandi

Independent policing oversight authority (IPOA) have launched a probe on the alleged police shooting incident at Lessos, Nandi. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

The deceased Onyango is said to have been shot dead by one of police officers, reason being that he had no face Mask. The incident let to rioting by the community members which led to burning and destruction of lessos police station. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

IPOA which overseas the work of internal affairs of police will now take action into the matter. Kenya police had earlier been warned of the brutality by interior CS Fred Matiangi. Earlier in the year, the president Uhuru Kenyatta also condemned the brutality by the police after the killings of over 9 Kenyans during curfew implementation.
