Controversial blogger Abraham Mutai has disclosed that Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana's interest in the presidency is not his own.
On his twitter account, Mutai said that governor Kibwana is the project of Deputy President William Ruto.
"Kivutha Kibwana is the newest Project of William Ruto. Stay tuned," he wrote.
However, his tweet angered a section of Kenyans who thought it was wrong for him to always link everything to Ruto.
They wondered why he never hits on any other politician other than Ruto.
Here are some of the comments.
Eric Masese: Thought you had brains. never knew you were this shallow. get outa here. Kivutha all the way.
Karimi Waiyaki: No, he is NOT!
You fools think everything is William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta.
James Mwangi: Chenye you people smoke is something else. All you need is to mention William Ruto to invalidate someone. You need to search for another MO, this one's getting old.
"Kivutha Kibwana is DP Ruto's project like 2002 Uhuru Kenyatta as Moi's project? What about Mudavadi, Wetangula, Mwangi Was Iria, Kabogo, and Hassan Joho? Are they all DP Ruto's project? Come clean on this bwana Lord Abraham Mutai? Wacha wivu zako," said Champs.
Today Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana came out to announce that he will be on the ballot paper in 2022.
He said that he has listened to the voice of Kenyans and them as their leader.
"I have listened to the voice of Wanjiku asking me to run for the presidency in the coming election. I am available, ready, and willing to be Wanjiku's President. Will go all the way to the Ballot Box with Wanjiku in 2022. We must ensure devolution works for our communities," he said.
Kibwana, his Machakos counterpart Alfred Mutua and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka are the Kamba leaders who have shown interest in the presidential seat.
Each of them has the great hope of succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta.
