Raila's Morning Tweet Lands Him Yet In Another Trouble With Kenyans

Just a few days after his surgery Raila Odinga has penned a message on his Twitter account. He congratulated the people of Malawi for the peaceful elections they held. "I congratulate the people of Malawi on the successful and peaceful presidential election and incoming President Lazarus Chakwera on his impressive victory."

Raila further commended the outgoing President Peter Mutharika for creating the environment for a peaceful and orderly transfer of power.

Raila further noted that the election was followed keenly beyond Malawi and is a symbol of hope for those who support democracy in Africa and around the world.

Some Kenyans reacting to his tweet; asked him to retire from politics. Some also reacted by questioning the dynasties that political leaders were forming in Kenya.

Some Kenyans also advised the former Prime Minister to emulate the former Malawi president in the next electioneering period. However, sone also took this opportunity to wish him a quick recovery and a safe journey back home.
