Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua's sh 200M Frozen By state Due to Corruption allegations

Mathira Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua who is a key ally of DP Ruto is facing corruption charges from the state after his 200 million in his bank accounts were frozen by the state after they were suspected to be proceeds of corruption.
The Asset and Recovery Agency has established that investigations established that Mr Gachagua and an organization known as Jenne Enterprises Limited were involved in suspected money laundering.
The Sunday Nation has established that the MP and the agency have transacted almost 5Billion in the last seven years with the money mainly coming from government agencies such as the Ministry of lands and informal settlements, Bungoma county, Ministry of health and Nyeri county.
The MP will have his bank account of almost 200M frozen in the next 90 days until investigations by the Asset and Recovery Agency are finalized.
The MP who is a close confidant of DP Ruto in the vote rich Mt. Kenya region has for the better part of the year been facing corruption allegations but DP Ruto allies have rubbished the charges and allegations leveled on Rigathi and stated that the MP is only being targeted by the State due to his unwavering support of DP William Ruto.
