Age.

He was born on March 1959.

Education.

Raphael Tuju attended two primary schools. Majiwa primary school and Nakuru West primary school.Having performed well,he joined Starehe Boys Center for his Highschool education.

He is also an alumni of Leicester University, located in the UK,where he studied a Masters of Arts in mass communication.

Marriage.

It was in the year1986 on 15th November when he walked down the isle with Ruth Akinyi. The couple was blessed with a son and twin daughters.

It was not until 2011,When Tuju realized that his wife was having affairs outside marriage. Tuju even has court papers citing accusations to his wife.The wife had however turned to be abusive and very violent to Him.She could even do that in the knowledge of their children ,so Raphael filed a court case for divorce.

In 2013,He divorced Ruth Akinyi who had an affair with an alleged GSU officer called Tony Ogunda.Raphael however gives her a verified maintenance fee of 200,000 monthly.

He even promised to settle any medical bill that she would incur.

Raphael Tuju begun his career as a journalist by profession.He was a pioneer news anchor in the KTN tv.

He also begun Ace communication company that was meant for documentaries about HIV virus in the 2000.He was also a columnist for the East African Standard,which was a local newspaper.

He also worked for UN which is an international corporation.

In 2002,he joined the political arena and was elected as the member of parliament for Rarieda Constituency.He served his people with dignity and established water projects and built 5 secondary schools.

2002 to 2005,He was a minister for Information and communication as well as the minister for tourism and wildlife.

He served as the constituency Mp until 2007.

In 2008-2011 he was the advisor for the Kenyan president on matters concerning media and management of diversity.

In 2018 he was also named by the president as the cabinet secretary without portfolio.

Awards.

He was awarded the second highest civilian title in kenya(Elder of the golden Heart) by president Mwai Kibaki.
