Since there's a wide variety of drugs which can be abused including alcohol and tobacco, it remains a fact that a good number of people have abused them once or twice. Others have become addicted.
Drug abuse may have its Genesis in youth and last to ones old age.
In this article, I will highlight some guidelines on how to manage drug abuse.
1. Keeping oneself occupied.
It is normally said that "Idle mind is devil's workshop." Drugs like alcohol require a lot of time to be abused. Once one is occupied, no time for alcohol can be found.
2. Avoid hanging out with friends who abuse drugs. Most drug abuse are initiated by peers (friends). Avoiding such friends means one will avoid drugs.
3. Taking a lot of water.
This may help wash out nicotine and also reduce alcoholic content in the body.
4. Finally if you have never abused any drug, just don't start it. Most of the drugs are addictive in nature and they bring more harm than good.
