"Open up the places of worship now. Unless you are waiting for a letter from God/Allah," Moses Kuria.

But with Moses' advise aside, Fred Matiang'i and Mutahi Kagwe have already inaugurated the Inter-faith council that will develop protocols of reopening the places of worship. The council is expected to report back within the next two weeks. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

"My colleague Mutahi Kagwe and I inaugurated the Inter-Faith Council on the National Response to COVID-19 today to begin developing protocols for reopening of places of worship in our country. Churches are expected to be busy the whole day on Sundays as they endeavor to attend to all the worshippers, since they can only accommodate a small number during each service. It is not clear however of the number of worshippers who will be willing to attend the church physically going forward.
