A resident of Lang'ata in Nairobi county is appealing to members of public for help, to find his missing cat. He claims that his favorite pet has been missing for some days and despite efforts to find her in the neighborhood, he hasn't been lucky.

In a poster doing rounds in social media pages, the man gives a vivid description of his pet, an indication that the cat was his best friend. Th black cat, named "Miss Ghost" or simply "Ghost" is said to be donning a black and white collar and was last seen around Sailing Club, Lang'ata. View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

To emphasize the importance of the pet, the man has put forward a reward of Ksh. 20,000 to anyone who will help him trace his lovely pet. Kenyans in their usual style have gone online to express their reactions on the same. Usually, such hefty rewards are offered by the police when hunting for criminals, for a cat, this raised a little suspicion. A number of Netizens believe that this could be a case of black magic and that the heavy rewards are as a result of the pet's importance to the man's success.

Another hilarious response indicated that perhaps the cat, having been last seen within the pub didn't manage to beat the curfew hours and maybe is under mandatory quarantine by the government. Others have asked the man to just buy a new cat, after all they cost less than a 1000 shillings in most villages, saying that he should save the balance thereof.

As strange as it may seem, this was the man's most treasured belonging, his decision to place the big price is personal and hopefully he will find his cat soon enough. If you have come across "Ghost", kindly reach out to the distraught man.
