Raila Odinga Tops in a Twitter List of the Most Patriotic Kenyans

Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has complied a list of top five true patriots who love Kenya more than anything.

According to his list ODM party leader Raila Odinga tops the list.

The lawyer indicated that he finds it funny and laughable when someone else thinks that he is better than Raila in his or her love for Kenya.

In his list of the top five true patriots Prof. Makau Mutua comes second, followed by Siaya senator James Orengo, Lawyer Mohamed Wehliye comes fourth and on the fifth place is lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi.

Lawyer Kipkorir further indicated that though the above patriots may not agree on many issue to do with politics, but they love Kenya more than anything.

“These are Kenyans we can’t qualify to tie their shoe laces: Baba Raila Odinga, Prof. Makau Mutua, James Orengo, Mohamed Wehliye and Ahmednasir Abdullahi. They aren’t necessarily in the same WhatsApp group, but love Kenya above anything. I just laugh when some think they’re better,” lawyer Kipkorir tweeted.

This happens even as many speculations on Raila’s health condition surface on social media platforms.

According to the rumors that made rounds on social media, it was alleged that Raila is sick and had been flown to China to receive treatment for cancer related complications.

The rumors further indicated that Raila had flown outside the country to seek for treatment on Sunday 21st accompanied by his daughter Winnie Odinga and an aide.

ODM party however, came out to refute the claims terming them as malicious rumors.

Through their communication director, Philip Etale, the party indicated that Raila is healthy and had gone to DRC Congo for a conference.

“HE @RailaOdinga is currently in Kinshasa, DRC in his capacity as the AU High Representative for Infrastructure Development in Africa for the virtual Pan African Conference on the Grand Inga Dam. The project aims to unlock the world's largest hydropower scheme in Africa manufacturing and value addition ambitions,” Etale posted on his official Facebook account.
