Boni Khalwale Reveals Conflicting Details in Waluke's Fraud Case

Sirisia MP john Waluke slapped with a mountain fine of a whooping Ksh 594 million or serve 7 years imprisonement should the MP fail to pay in the stipulated period.Waluke and co-accused Grace Wakhungu have been accused of fradulently obtaining 297 million.
The case which involved a high profile leader was keenly followed by many in a bid to know how the charges will be carried out.In recent past many high profile charges have ended in dismay as many political leaders have gotten away with a pat in the wrist in major serious public offences. However,John Waluke's case was nothing sort of after receiving heavy penalty henceforth.Waluke now risks losing his parliamentary seat should he fail to pay the fine and serve real jail time.The law stipulates that a member of parliament will lose his seat if he/she is jailed for more than 6 months.
In regard to case saga,former Kakamega Senator has shed some light regarding Waluke's case.Khalwale sensationally claims that Waluke legally received the 297million as a compesation from NCPB after breach of contract in the supply of maize .NCPB unsuccesfully contested the case in both the High court Appeal courts. "Arbitration court ordered NCPB to pay Hon Waluke Ksh 297 million for breach of contract in supply of Maize NCPB unsuccessfully challenged this in both the High Court and Appeal Courts.Waluke has been jailed for enjoying the benefit of a lawful court order.
