The man who risked his life and drove speedily into the highly protected State House is now a free man.

He escaped death at the hands of trigger happy GSU based at the House on the hill and now court has set him free without charges.

Luqman Ali Mahmoud sneaked into the President’s residence on June 19 through gate D.

He was driving a Volkwagen Polo registration number KCP 048Y.

He sped past the gate prompting the cops to shot at him and they managed to deflate the car tyres.

Questioned, Mahmoud said he wanted to talk to President Uhuru Kenyatta as pertaining on how to worship Allah.

Milimani Courts Senior Principal Magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot ordered a mental evaluation on Mahmoud at Mathari National Hospital.

State House, Nairobi. It is a highly protected facility.

He was charged of creating disturbance in a manner likely to cause breach of peace and entering a protected area illegally.

Today the judge released him but will be under care of his father who was warned that he court be charged with negligence if Mahmoud repeated the mistake.
