System ya Majambazi, Waluke has Been Enjoying Benefits of a Lawful Court Order: Boni Khalwale

Former Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale has faulted setencing of Sirisia Member of Parliament John Waluke terming it as an orchestrated, 'system ya mahambazi'.

According to Khalwale, Waluke has been jailed unfairly since he has bern enjoying the benefits of a lawful court order after the court of arbitration ordered NCPB to pay him 297 Millions for breach of contract for supply of maize.

According to Khalwale, Waluke did not commit any crime but this seems like a malicious move against the Jubilee lawmaker.

"Arbitration Court Ordered NCPB to pay Hon Waluke sh 297 million for breach of contract for supply of maize. NCPB unsuccessfully challenged this in both the High & Appeal Courts Waluke has been jailed for enjoying the benefit of a lawful court order! System ya Majambazi" tweeted Khalwale.

Chief Magistrate Elizabeth Juma found John Waluke and Grace Wakhungu guilty for receiving 313 Million Kenyans Shillings as payment from the National Cereals and Produce Board through their company Erad Supplies.

Waluke was ordered to pay 727 Millions or face 10 years in jail while ms Wakhungu is required to pay 707 millions or face similar jail term.
