Some of it functions include emulsification of fats, digestion of drugs, elimination of toxins from the body, breakdown of carbohydrates and proteins.
At times our family members are diagnosed with some form of liver disease and today, we are looking at three foods to avoid if you love your liver.
1. High fat diet
The liver produces bile to help breakdown fats. When an individual consume a lot of fatty foods the liver tends to over work itself causing eventual breakdown of the liver itself.
