1 Samuel 2:20 And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.

2:21 And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

The word loan is an act or instance of lending, an act or instance of granting something for temporary use.

The Bible says "And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD".

The above text implies that one can give loan to God, wow. Yes, you can give God a loan.

You can lend to God by give him something to use it temporarily.

In the case of Elkanah and his wife Hannah, they lent their only son to God to use for His service voluntarily. So, Samuel became a Server in the Temple.

One thing about loan is that it is always paid back with interest.

Now, let's see if God paid Elkanah and his wife Hannah with interest or not for the loan they gave Him.

1 Sam 2:21 And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

Yes, God paid them with interest. Now, Hannah and the husband gave a loan of one child, a male and received one male child back but received an interest of two male children and two female children. So, in all, they received five children for the one child loan they gave to God. Hallelujah!

The Bible says in Luke 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again".

My dear, if I were you, I will give God a loan today. If I were you, I will give Elohim Yahweh my money, time, life, resources, talents and gifts. In fact a good measured loan. So God will pay me back with interest also in good measure.

My dear, I am here to challenge you to invest into God and his kingdom and I can guarantee you that you won't have any regret doing so.
