Bombshell; Anas strikes again, this time on Coronavirus thieves

Ace Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has hinted of an upcoming investigative piece that will reveal the corrupt practices about the Coronavirus Fund. 

On a Facebook post made by the Chief Executive Officer of Tiger Eye Private Investigation, he whetted the appetite of Ghanaians by asking “Are you ready? It is coming. The corona quacks and thieves in Ghana. It would be served hot on BBC Africa Eye. All major stations in Ghana”.

Anas, who is widely known with the mantra of naming, shaming and jailing has undertaken many undercover investigations that have put many behind bars. 

Notable amongst his works is #12 which unveiled the corrupt practices in football in Ghana, Nigeria and other parts of Africa.

Premiered in May 2018, #12 saw the suspension long serving GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi by the Federation International Football Association, which subsequently led to his indefinite expulsion from football activities. 

One other major works of his is “Ghana in the eyes of God” which revealed the corrupt practices in the judiciary.  

Judges were seen taking bribes in the form of cash, goats and even yam from people to turn cases against their opponents. 

In April 2014, Anas premiered Ghana’s Soul Takers which revealed he stinking practices at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department of the Ghana Police Service. It also included the bribery and corruption at the DVLA and how the actions and inactions of some authorities lead to many road carnages. 

Beginning his journalism work with the Crusading Guide newspaper, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has worked in the print media since 1998 till date.

And as CEO of Tiger Eye Private Investigation, he has been credited by many international media houses, including the BBC, Aljazeera and has won many awards. 

His focus in journalism is on issues of human rights, Anti-Corruption in Ghana and Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Many Ghanaians are anticipating what this revelation about the Corona quacks and thieves in Ghana would entail.
