The word celebrity according to the Cambridge dictionary is a state of being famous. And on many occasions has been abused because of people's quest to becoming celebrities.

People engage in attention seeking activities on social media all in the name of being famous. Some ladies are now famous because of their craziness and sexually explicit content they put on social media.

Some also although very well known for their talent but in their bid to get the headlines do a lot of demeaning acts which a true celebrity would not do.

A celebrity in the true sense should be an example for others to follow. He or she must be an ambassador for positive change but not immorality.
