KNUST's newly elected Vice Chancellor - Prof. (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson

View pictures in App save up to 80% data. The Governing Board of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has chosen Professor (Mrs) Rita Akosua Dickson as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University. 


This makes her the main female to be selected to the situation throughout the entire existence of the University. 


Her arrangement, according to announcement from the KUNST, produces results from August 1, 2020. 


Before her arrangement, she was the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the establishment. 


She filled in as the acting Vice-Chancellor in October 2018 when the then Vice-Chancellor Prof. Obiri Danso was approached to move to one side briefly, following quite a while of understudy tumults and viciousness on the grounds. 


Prof. (Mrs) Dickson was the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences before her arrangement as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor. 


She graduated with a Bachelor's certificate in Pharmacy from the college in 1994. 


She sought after alumni examines prompting the honor of MPharm in Pharmacognosy in 1999 and was designated a speaker the next year in the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, KNUST. 


She likewise holds a Ph.D. what's more, a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice (GCAP) from Kings College, London.

Congratulations Prof (Mrs) Dickson - this your turn to make great things happen not just in Ghana but on the continent of Africa. It's taken rather too long for a female to head that university so make the women folks shine as well. Make Africa, Ghana and the female folks proud.
