Four years ago, Chelsea drew 2-2 with Tottenham to clinch the Premier League for Leicester.

Tottenham saw their Premier League title dreams shattered after Chelsea came back from 2-0 down to secure a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Substitute Eden Hazard scored his first home goal in a year to complete the comeback seven minutes from time and hand Leicester an historic title.

Knowing nothing but a victory would keep them in with a chance of winning a first title since 1961, Spurs stormed into a two goal first-half lead with goals from Harry Kane (35 minutes) and Son Heung-min (44 minutes).

Chelsea, buoyed by the introduction of Hazard, were right back in it in the 58th minute thanks to Gary Cahill's strike, leaving a nervous 32 minutes for both Spurs and Leicester, whose players watched the game at Jamie Vardy's house.

Today, they could do the same for Liverpool. Chelsea has a chance to secure Liverpool the Premier League title on Thursday night. Frank Lampard's side, who are currently in race for the top four, will take on Manchester City, at Stamford Bridge. If Pep Guardiola's outfit fail to overcome the London Blues it would see their crown fall to Liverpool — a prospect many rival supporters have baulked at. But this is the outcome most Chelsea fans are welcoming due to their Champions League ambitions.

Chelsea has not only crowned Premier League clubs, but has also prevented other teams from clinching the title. About 8years ago Mourinho Chelsea prevented Liverpool from being Crowned as the Premier League Champions at Anfield. This was when Steven Gerrard slipped to gift Demba Ba an opportunity to score. Liverpool lost the game 0-2 when the game ended. On the lighter side some say Chelsea has crowned more champions more than Arsene Wenger has lifted the Premier League title.
