Although the hosts could have taken the lead later in the first half's stoppage time, when Wilfred Ndidi's deflected shot ricochet's into the path of Defender Caglar Soyuncu who guided his header wide off the post.
The Foxes two best chances on goal were in the second half from James Maddison who got a chance around Brighton's end but flashed his shot wide, he later fired a free kick which unfortunately sailed over the woodwork.
The 0-0 draw helped the Seagulls climb to 15th on 33 points as they would be welcoming Manchester United to the 'American Express Community Stadium’ .
While the Foxes on the other hand remains on 3rd place with 55 points, four more than Chelsea who they will be playing in the FA cup on the 28th while their next league will be away at the Goodison park where they face Everton.
