The recent documentary by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas making waves on the media space currently seems like a "joke" to some Ghanaians.

Movie Producer Eddie Nartey stated that the fourth coming Investigative piece will not get anywhere.

He based his views on the fact many of the earlier documentaries were left off the hook and nothing really came from them. Perpetrators found in the documentaries were left without prosecution.

Mr Eddie Nartey said it is another movie premiere that will be aired and that ends it.

Maybe he is right maybe not, but whose responsibility is it to prosecute? Anas Aremeyaw Anas is just uncovering what was hidden from the public eye and producing evidence to that effect, the onus lie with the powers that be to prosecute.

Others have raised issues with the documentary about covid-19 quacks. They are of the view that Anas Aremeyaw Anas should have Investigated the death of Ahmed Suale before conducting other documentaries.

Some powerful peope have also at the mention of documentary from the Tiger Eye PI team vowed that they will expose the team if the documentary is aired.

Indeed Anas should have conducted investigation into Ahmed Suale's death but it does not mean that he cannot do any other documentary outside of that.

It has been in the media that he is assisting the police with investigation into the death of Ahmed.

The covid-19 quacks is in the right direction because it speaks to the issue plaguing us at the moment and we all know most Ghanaians would take advantage where there is fear of death.

We however hope that the Ahmed Suale issue will be dealt with and justice served.
