Ghanaians in part of the country have been hit by fear as an earth tremor has been recorded in parts of the Greater Accra region once again.

People living around the following communities responded to the tremor Gbawe, Sowutuom, Old Kasoa Barrier, New Bortianor, , Abelemkpe, Tabora, Achimota,Kissiman, Westland, Laterbiokorshie, Legon, Ashaiman,Awoshie,Ablekuma, Tema, and McCarthy Hill have confirmed experiencing the tremor.
National geographic states what to be done now
1. Stay calm
2. Try and stay where you are. Use large and sturdy objects such as big desks to crawl under, if you are in a building, try and stand against the wall near the center of the room. You should stay away from Windows and outside doors
3. Should you be outside at the time of tremor,look around you and ensure you are clear from power cables or anything overhead that might fall on you. Do not stay against building, debris might fall on you.
4. Use the stairs to evacuate premises(only when it is safe to do so)
